I am an explorer and entrepreneur based in Louisville, Kentucky. I have worked as a travel writer, a derivatives trader, a bartender, an airline revenue manager, and an executive over the last ten years. In 2014, I launched a company called Menguin as CEO which we sold to George Zimmer in 2017 for $25m. I stayed on as President of the merged entity and lead the integration. I am currently CEO of Buff City Soap.

I love to travel and have visited over 100 countries. I see a lot of commonalities between travel and entrepreneurship. I love to share my thoughts on everything from why Silicon Valley is failing entrepreneurship to where to get the best noodles in Northern Laos or how to get the worst haircut in Chungking Mansions.
